DCL Ministries Sunday Devotional with POTN

Praise God for all that we have and all that we are becoming, while conforming to His likeness. I am happy that the sunlight has come out today, because after the rain, after the tears, after the pain, troubles, trial, and obstacles I can see clearly, now that the rain is gone. Something about the sweet sunlight on my face just makes me want to smile and sing out loud.

I hope you have been enjoying each month as DCL Ministries teams up with founder, and mixed media artist Cherie Burbach for a dose of goodness every fourth Sunday. This month, I talk about “living water.” Do you have it? Do you know what it is? Do you want it? I do. However, rather than put all our eggs in one basket for Easter, let’s live everyday like we know he is alive, and living amongst us. Jesus is the living water and I promise if you drink of Him you will never thirst again. Meaning, if you find yourself always hitting a brick wall, always tired, frustrated, lack of direction, or answers to your troubles, it is Jesus who will provide the answers. I know everyone says , “come as you are,” but Jesus really means it. You can be a foul mouthed, belligerent, cantankerous person and God will still welcome you into His flock, with open arms. So, take a chance on a new type of drink and join us so we can make this world a better place.

Enjoy this sweet article below and feel the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

(“For the lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes” Rev 7:17).

Many times humanity is under the assumption that after Jesus ascended to his father he is simply sitting in a chair waiting, until the Second Coming. Jesus, our Savior, isn’t just sitting waiting for the time told by the Father, but he continues the work he started when incarnate. Yes, he is the lamb at the center of the throne, but he has begun a great work in us all as he continues that work from the throne. He continues to lead and intercede on our behalf, singing over us as we sleep, preaching, teaching, healing through the regenerative work of the Holy Spirit. Jesus continues to be the life, the way and the truth as promised, never to stop that work until we are conformed in His likeness. Are you thirsty for His kind of water? I am. Prior to coming to Jesus I lived for myself, but now I live for Him. It is the best decision I have ever made and where I was once dead I am alive, drinking some pretty good water. This scripture, in the book of Revelations, is merely a portion of what John saw and wrote in his letter to the seven churches. Let us live each day like the elders and the four living creatures, surrounding the throne, worshiping God with a heart posture saying,

“Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!”
