BIBLEBABES-WOMEN SUPPORTING WOMEN…

Welcome to BIBLEBABES ; a group found on Meetup.com; and created, because, though hard, I absolutely love being a God-fearing-woman. But, like many of us have experienced, I have also experienced what it feels like to -be -a- woman -without the support- of -other- women. Ladies, maybe you didn’t know it, but we need one another. And this group is one that seeks to encourage, collaborate, fellowship, support and come along side other women trying to survive the trials, obstacles, persecution, depression, doubt, uncertainty and isolation of what is being called ‘the new normal,’ due to COVID-19 ( along with the various variants). DCL Ministries seeks to create a safe space with safe women that haven’t a desire to teardown others emotionally, physically, spiritually or psychologically. But rather, an intentional desire to buildup others instead. I wonder, can you RELATE?

BIBLEBABES SEES UNITY WITHIN DIVERSITY…

BIBLEBABES was also created because DCL Ministries loves diversity and inclusivity within the Body of Christ. We are all made in the Lord’s image and due to our uniqueness we all bring something special and beautiful to the table. BIBLEBABES welcomes all ages, ethnicities, nations, socio-economic backgrounds and perspectives as we integrate Jesus into our daily lives via our events. God loves unity within diversity and when there are differences, rather than groups that focus on division in order to conquer, we can unify by educating one another while celebrating our differences and perspectives when communing with one another. Perhaps you need a group like this in your life…

BIBLEBABES IS A CHRIST-CENTERED GROUP…

I spent a long time fighting God, resisting God, and surely not listening to God –or seeking His counsel on live altering decisions. I sat one day wondering and then asked, “What do You want from me?” I forgot with all my asking, worshipping, complaining and lamenting to LISTEN to the still-small-voice. My friends, do you feel worn-out? Are you tired of never progressing, prospering, not just being in God’s Waiting Room, but also waiting alone? We live in a world that doesn’t acknowledge Jesus and furthermore, we often snub our nose at anything that seems used, worn-down, poked, prodded and pressed from all sides. While navigating this world ( against anything divine) we are expected to be perfect–no mistakes or blemishes while fumbling and floundering around. My friends, this Christian walk is going to challenge everything inside of you. And, as they say, whatever you did to find Jesus is what you will still have to do to keep Him– first and center in your life. These old, ratty shoes and tattered books displayed above seems to display, to me, how I often feel and sometimes look when I invest , whole-heartedly in my personal relationship with Jesus. What am I saying? It’s OK to work hard at things that you treasure and value, because though hard-pressed, perplexed, persecuted , even struck down in your quest to please the Lord, it is IN CHRIST that we can TRUST and REJOICE IN HIM –while surrendering to His will. My sisters, in Him, we can surely dwell in the land and also enjoy safe pasture while in pursuit of peace, and purpose.
