About DCL Ministries

As follower’s of Jesus Christ we attend church every Sunday, and  then a mid- week bible study usually follows , and if we are a persistent seeker of His face, and a lover of His word we find ourselves  engrossed in another intense bible study to boot . For we have learned, and have accepted, that it is the vine we must remain in , daily, to produce the fruit that can only come from being grafted in with Jesus Christ.  I am reminded as I read and continue to study the exciting stories of old, and the miracles of Christ in the New Covenant that our Lord uses ordinary people. Like me I am sure you, too, are in awe of Moses’  parting of the Red Sea, Esther who saves the Jewish nation from death, Gideon who defeats the Midianites with 300 soldiers, Rahab  the prostitute who is noteworthy for her great faith, Elisha, Ruth, Hannah, Jeremiah, and we can’t help but marvel at the disciples tenacity as they built the early church after Jesus Christ was murdered.

As new, young or even seasoned Christians on the walk we might read these awesome stories that exemplify: courage, triumph, surrender, patience, and humility and let out a big ole sigh. Why you ask? Well,  after much thought on the subject the answer seems clear; for after we have occupied our week with bible studies, church fellowship, church attendance, we than read these stories witness their great works of leadership only to wonder in our own lives

“Am I doing enough?”

The good news is an effective Christian, as I see it, is not necessarily  always performing miracles like Moses did when he parted the Red Sea. Perhaps the parting of the Red Sea where you reside at is being cheerful, on a miserable day, in an office plagued with a bunch of Scrooges  or maybe it is a kind word of encouragement to a friend that is discouraged, you might find yourself feeling compelled to pay the toll over the bridge for the car behind you, maybe even praying for a stranger that needs to be comforted at the post office, or perhaps offering to buy a hot meal for a homeless person whom has lost their way, because you also  remember what it felt like when you too were unemployed. For the word says:

Truly I tell you whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers, and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40

In these kind, daily, gestures you might not be freeing a nation, like Esther, but you will be releasing the fruit of the Spirit to a lost soul as you introduce Jesus’ truth into their lives indeed making them free, and in helping that homeless person with a hot meal you might not have parted the Red Sea, but to one who is hungry it will sure feel like it!

DCL Ministriesis a ministry propelling all acts of kindness ,through the fruit of the Spirit, to those in need. This ministry is for all who are not just searching to do grand gestures of God’s love ,but understand that it is in the big, and also the small random acts that Jesus dwells too. We all can make a difference immediately in our daily lives, and by our acts of kindness we just might encourage others to do the same. Feel free to share your R.A.O.K  and maybe by your individual gestures we can achieve , through Holy Spirit on an international level, a wave of God’s love to all who are in need, and searching for the peace that surpasses all understanding. For the triune God’s love crosses over all barriers and languages, can calm all wars, move any mountain, mend any dispute, heal any sickness, and bring together any nation. Give it a try, and let your love for Christ spill over to where you live.

    1. Charity says:

      Dear James

My brother in Jesus Christ. Praise God for your sincere heart to help all who are suffering. James, YOU ARE NOT ALONE, and I am joining you in prayer my friend. There are many in the word of God, like you, who longed for the healing of our Lord and Savior to spread like wildfire, for there are so many who need Him. I am reminded of the struggles that Moses had to lead the people, the masses just like you, but the Lord said let’s give the people, the elders, some of your spirit. James, in short you have it in you to lead and my brother you must lean on the Lord to do the rest. You were never meant to take it on alone. You are doing the work of the Lord so shine bright my brother as our Lord and Savior works mightily through you. Know that you are helping more than you think. Plant the seeds and watch as the mighty Lord waters and provides the increase.

I urge you to teach the people how to pray. Many don’t know how to ask the Lord for help, for I believe though we pray for all people , all nations with a heart to eradicate suffering, I believe, no one knows how to pray for you , better than YOU!Remind the elderly and needy children to bow their heads to the Father in heaven he hears the cry of his people and God grace will cover them, soothe them and heal them. Ask all who believe in the power of Jesus and as you pray over them it is God’s ability and their faith that will collide and healing will surely happen! They must believe. Teach about the Holy Spirit how it indwells in us all and teach them how to recognize how Holy Spirit speaks to them. Encourage the people, and give them love, joy and hope.

Matthew 6:9 “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For thine is the Kingdom the power and glory …forever. Amen”

James, continue to spread the Fruit of the Spirit, for there are many that are watching to see if you live what you preach. You may be the only bible they read so, live a life that shows the work of the gospel changing you from the inside out. Let Jesus’ teachings spill over showing you are not ashamed to be the beautiful witness of Jesus that you are. Take time to build up your strength by praying with the LORD as often as you can, because you will be no good to others if you don’t take care of yourself. Brother, always plead the blood of Jesus over yourself from the top of your head to the souls of your feet, for the enemy will attempt to delay you, discourage you and make you think that the load is too heavy and the task is too big. Nothing is impossible for GOD…NOTHING!!! Study and read Psalms 23, 91 and Psalms 121. Also 2 Corinthians 4:1-18

      Dear Father,

I pray for Pastor James in Kenya for his heart is burdened by the suffering he sees. Thank you Lord for the compassion that he feels, for Jesus many of your works were because you were moved with compassion. Give James strength, endurance and peace as he spreads your word. I ask, in the name of Jesus, for you to protect him and give him peace that it is God who is stronger in him then he in the world. Instruct James tongue with the words to sustain the weary. I pray Jesus for the babies, the children, the elderly in the slums of Kenya. I pray for their comfort, to know they are not abandoned or alone. I pray GOD that you would reveal yourself to them and they would know YOU ARE WHO YOU SAY YOU ARE. Jesus is LORD and is MIGHTY TO SAVE!!!! I pray Father if it is your will that I may be able to visit Kenya to support and minister with brother James, but until then I ask for a hedge of protection around him and that you would have healing and the gospel of Jesus Christ spread like wildfire through the slums of Kenya. I ask Lord for favor on this man of God and that you would bless him with resources and strategies so that he can help your people. In Jesus name. Amen.

God Bless you my friend…I am here and praying for your success..
