Dovetales with Deborah, under PJC Media Worldwide, can’t believe a whole year has gone by since the Christian show was launched April 2016. Through this year I have enjoyed immensely the guests we’ve had on the program. Thanks to all of the courageous souls who’ve made it through their trials, obstacles, and tribulations allowing God to hold your hand in the midst of the mess. It is the most difficult thing to do, hold onto hope in the eye of the storm called life. No matter what anyone tells you, we were created to need help, we were created to be loved. In short, we were created to need HIM.

Hope in Jesus is what I clung to when I didn’t know if I was going to survive the obstacles thrown into my path. I suffered emotionally and many times felt uncertain when I realized that the foundation I built my life on became unstable. I was devastated, but it was reading the Bible that gave me strength. Those of you who don’t believe me, I challenge you in the moments of your pain, agony, or betrayal to suspend your pain for a moment to read “one sentence,” just one verse of the Bible; meditate on it, speak it out loud and you WILL feel a change. The scripture of choice in my devastation was, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will make your path straight ” (Proverbs 5:6 &7). 

Dovetales is about these very stories that you might not be sure exist. They do, and Dovetales provides that platform for those survivors, trailblazers, and over comer’s. Remember, every saint has a past and every sinner has a future (this is not my quote).

This show is geared to encourage the believer, to answer questions for the non-believer, and to guide, strengthen and a provide a lifeline emotionally to all who might struggle. Tune into the stories told by drug addicts,abolitionists, poor, folks who dabbled in witchcraft, singers, homeless, people who endured travesty after disappointment, after letdown. I don’t care who you are, a Bible thumping theologian or a curious agnostic- we are all the same when it comes to needing help navigating this game called LIFE. Join me so we can start navigating…together.

Dovetales is every Sunday, 2:30-3:30 pm eastern time. Be encouraged, uplifted,and inspired for the week. I pray once you’ve tuned into Dovetales  it will inspire you to care more, love stronger, and forgive easier. God Bless you all and I look forward to another amazing year.
