Carla knows just how deep her father’s roots are, being that his music is about religion, romance, and history. It is the connection to these deep roots that has led Carla to her own diverse style in Gospel, Christian, R & B, Soul, Pop and the Contemporary sound which embraces today’s culture.

Carla Cooke has a CD entitled “A Time to Remember” which covers renditions of her father’s hit songs including “A Change Gone Come,” “Summertime,” and “Lost and Looking” along with several compositions she wrote. Most recently Carla was chosen to sing a tribute to Dionne Warwick at the 2016 Rhythm and Blues Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. This was truly an honor for Carla and a memory she will treasure.

Currently, Carla is on tour with “Carla Cooke Sings Sam Cooke”  with the versatile Agape Nation Band  performing unforgettable hit songs of her father and ones she has written. She is a featured artist with Jeff Pitchell and Texas Flood. One of New England’s top rated bands. Carla has also toured with “The Daughters of Rhythm and Blues.” Don’t miss the journey Carla and the Agape Band will take you on during her performances.
