God’s people Will Mount Up With Wings As Eagles…

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles they shall run, and not be weary and they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

I know you despise this word, like many of us do, when we are forced to have to act it out. The four letter word I speak of is “wait.” Oh how painful it is to wait, and frankly I don’t wish it on anyone, for there are many, due to not being able to wait, find themselves making the worse mistakes. But it is in the wait, I believe, God knows exactly where your strengths lye and what foundation you have based your decisions on. It is in the wait where the true motive dwells and where our strongholds rear their ugly head.

This scripture reminds us that when you wait upon God, when you wait for things to happen in Gods timing then you will renew your strength. In the horrible wait of life , when God is at the center of your pain, you will have strength to make it through things you simply thought were not possible…at least for you. I love the picture of an eagle, because when you mount up like an eagle you have the capacity to soar and due to their wing span their capability to stay in flight for a long time is a sight to see. You heard me , when you are governed in Gods ways, you can soar right over your problems as if they don’t exist at all.

Have you ever run and become out of breath too quickly? Have you ever been so drained that you are convinced you cannot take another step? Learn to walk with God and you will not be weary nor will you faint.  God will sustain you you through all things. If you can, enjoy and coast on what God has done in and for your life today. You are stronger than you realize. Don’t allow that stronghold to win, renew your strength with God today.
