God’s Appointed Time

“I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not cast their fruit before its time,” says the Lord Almighty Malachi 3:11

Prior to this scripture God says to all whom bring the whole tithe to His house to test him, for He will pour out such a blessing you will not be able to contain it. In this text God says if you do that then He will do this, meaning He will prevent pests from devouring your crops. We work so very hard for what we have and at times it appears that the thorns of life seem to steal our crops, our joy , and our hard work right from underneath us. Not with God, for he knows the beginning from the end. God knows what is good for you and He promises not to allow events or horrible circumstances to creep up on you and devour what is of Him, in your life.

In addition to that, according to this scripture, God will also not allow your vines to cast their fruit before it’s time. Many times those of us who follow Jesus Christ can feel wonderful things in our spirit things that God is about to produce in our lives. We can often feel and taste the fruit of what it is we are about to receive, but it seems to be delayed or lingering somehow. Timing is everything and the more I understand who God is in my life the more I understand how He works, and though it is painful to always have to wait I see that He loves us too much, to give us too much–too soon.

Therefore, God’s appointed time for your fruit to be cast: for you to meet your spouse, to experience financial freedom, to get that new job, house, new church home, new friends, new mentor, healing beyond comprehension is worth the wait. Trust me, our faith colliding with God’s power is an explosion of goodness. Trust the Father for he always knows what is best. Join me as we wait to drink from His vine and His cup, and always remember nothing you’ve gone through will be wasted…
