“Now therefore if you will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine.” Exodus 19:5

We are at a point in the word of God where the Israelite’s are coming out of bondage after being enslaved for 400 years. God wants all to go well with them and so he advises them to always keep a close ear tuned to His voice. Is your ear tuned to God’s voice in your life? Do you ask God how should you proceed  when you come to a difficult junction in the road? God was not asking for the Israelite’s sacrifice he was asking for their obedience.

Obedience is so very hard when there are many who are determined to live out their will instead of God’s will for their life. Solidify who or what you are serving, because not making a choice is still making a choice. I chose Jesus.
