There are so many choices we have in life, and due to these many choices, we can often get confused as to which way to go, and furthermore what road we should take.  I know that it might be very appealing to enter the gate which might have eye popping candy,and all the delectable delights which can visually hold us captive, but as a follower of God he provides us with the best way to go, and how we are to come if we are one surrendering to his will for our lives.

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” Matthew 7:13 & 14

I know you ight be asking yourselves if the gate is narrow than how can I get through it?In my experience this is ,I believe, where the Lord will begin to prune you and mold you so that you can fit through the narrow gate he desires for you to enter. Most people simply desire to stay the same, but I believe the narrow path is about making changes, renewing your mind ,and changing your ways. The narrow gate , if you allow God’s provision in, will help you get rid of your strongholds: your bad habits, your addictions, your greed, your emotional eating, and your promiscuous ways. The narrow gate will help us conform to a new life allowing us to take hold of new resources ,and will ultimately lead us to our new destiny…through Christ!

The wide gate is filled and saturated with many  who want it only their way.  Those that don’t want to change nor desire to consider that there is a better way to go. Unfortunately this gate is over crowded with several who did not think for themselves , and probably followed someone through due to all the choices a wide gate ,indeed, promises and possesses. God says to test the spirit, and know if what comes into your life is actually from him. Take time to look at everything and weigh the cost of your choices for like this sweet puppy at least take a look ,and question what is going on over there, and ponder how can you get in too. I know we want everything to be easy and painless , but as they say no pain no gain for most things that are worth having are the very things that will challenge everything in you to possess it.

Enter the narrow gate today, and see what God has …for you.
